The Two Witnesses And The Seventh Trump

Revelation 11:1  And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: G4464 and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

[
Note:
This is not a rod for building or construction. It is a rod for destruction to measure the state of those that worship. This is setting the state for the end, measuring those that will make it and those that will not. The stage is being set for the wrath of GOD to be poured out.

G4464
ῥάβδος
rhabdos
hrab'-dos
From the base of G4474; a stick or wand (as a cudgel, a cane or a baton of royalty): - rod, sceptre, staff.

Cudgel
noun
a short, thick stick used as a weapon; club.
]

Revelation 11:2  But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

[
Note:
All prophecies given in days are related to GOD and HIS chosen. All prophecies given in nights or moons are related to satan. This is the three and a half years that satan sits in the temple claiming to be GOD. There is a need for this rod of correction because we are going to convert many people, gentiles and otherwise.
]

Revelation 11:3  And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

[
Note:
This prophecy is given in days. This means it is related to GOD’S chosen. It is given in days because we are children of Light. This is also three and a half years. Sackcloth means it is a time of cleansing, a time of sorrow. The time given is in days, which is ten days longer than the same time given in moons (lunar), but it is still three and a half years. This means the two witnesses will be here ten days before the antichrist arrives.
]

Revelation 11:4  These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

[
Note:
Zechariah 4:11  Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
Zechariah 4:12  And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
Zechariah 4:13  And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
Zechariah 4:14  Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

The Bible, GOD’S WORD is GOD’S Witness, and Moses gave the law and Elijah was the prophet.

Matthew 22:34  But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
Matthew 22:35  Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
Matthew 22:36  Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Matthew 22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:38  This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:39  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matthew 22:40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Malachi 4:1  For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Malachi 4:2  But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Malachi 4:3  And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
Malachi 4:4  Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
Malachi 4:5  Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
Malachi 4:6  And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Matthew 17:1  And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
Matthew 17:2  And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
Matthew 17:3  And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
Matthew 17:4  Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
Matthew 17:5  While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
Matthew 17:6  And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
Matthew 17:7  And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
Matthew 17:8  And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

Elias in Greek is the same as Elijah in Hebrew.

Notice that this verse says the two Olive trees and the two candlesticks; I believe it is possible that it is Moses and Elijah and the two churches that JESUS is happy with. The two churches are election, which indicates that the two witnesses lead the two churches; Smyrna and Philadelphia.
]

Revelation 11:5  And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

[
Note:
Moses was the law giver, and he also would be the initiator of the plagues that GOD sent among the Egyptians. Elijah was the prophet that would send GOD’S FIRE among the people. GOD’S FIRE would be HIS WORD that comes to pass. When the king would send his soldiers to get Elijah, then Elijah would call FIRE down from Heaven to devour his enemies.

2 Kings 1:9  Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down.
2 Kings 1:10  And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
2 Kings 1:11  Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly.
2 Kings 1:12  And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
2 Kings 1:13  And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.
2 Kings 1:14  Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.
2 Kings 1:15  And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.

Notice that in this verse, FIRE would come out of the mouths of the two witnesses and that the enemy would be killed by the FIRE. This indicates that the enemy would be destroyed by The WORD that comes out of their mouths.
]

Revelation 11:6  These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

[
Note:
These are the plagues; GOD’S WRATH. The plagues of Egypt were a type of the plagues at the end time. I believe that there is one plague that is different than the plagues at the time of Moses; that is the plague that gets poured out upon the sun and has the power to scorch men.
]

Revelation 11:7  And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

[
Note:
This is where satan breaks the command that GOD gave him. The command was not to hurt those that have The Seal Of GOD in their foreheads, and not to kill those that do not have the Seal Of GOD.
]

Revelation 11:8  And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

[
Note:
This city is Jerusalem and the word “street” should have been translated as “arena”, similar to a stadium.
]

Revelation 11:9  And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

[
Note:
“People and kindreds and tongues and nations” means one worldism. The people will say they want to prove that these two witnesses do not rise from the dead. Similar to the situation when there were guards placed at the entrance to JESUS’ Tomb. They said, what if his disciples come and steal the body and claim that HE rose from the dead as HE said that HE would. So, they want to prevent a similar situation by not allowing the bodies to be buried. Don’t forget, however, that the guards they placed to guard JESUS’ Tomb fainted when angels came and rolled away the stone. Three days and a half from this point in time, JESUS will return. This cuts the tribulation short for the elect’s sake.
]

Revelation 11:10  And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
Revelation 11:11  And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear G5401 fell upon them which saw them.

[
Note:
“they that dwell upon the earth” shall worship satan, except for the election.

Revelation 13:8  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The word “fear” means a paralyzing fear, as in terror:

G5401
φόβος
phobos
fob'-os
From a primary φέβομαι phebomai (to be put in fear); alarm or fright: - be afraid, + exceedingly, fear, terror.
]

Revelation 11:12  And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
Revelation 11:13  And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

[
Note:
For every positive that GOD has, the devil has a negative. GOD has HIS seven thousand that are election. The devil has seven thousand lieutenants that are the worst of the worst fallen angels. GOD no longer has a purpose for them and they are destroyed at JESUS return. The remnant that trembles and worships GOD are the election of GOD.
]

Revelation 11:14  The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
Revelation 11:15  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

[
Note:
The Seventh Trump sounds, which completes the three woe trumps. JESUS has returned three and a half days after the devil kills the two witnesses, breaking GOD’S command not to hurt HIS election. This cuts the hour of temptation short to five months for the elect’s sake as we discussed earlier in these studies.
]

Revelation 11:16  And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
Revelation 11:17  Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
Revelation 11:18  And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Revelation 11:19  And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

[
Note:
This ends the flesh age. JESUS will reign for one thousand years as we try to help those that did not make the first resurrection. Many will make it, many will not. The saints are GOD’S election. A saint is a set aside one. We were set aside (chosen) to do WORK for HIM.
]

This concludes Revelation chapter eleven. Chapter twelve is an insert chapter. That means it is inserted into the normal flow of Revelation to describe an important aspect of what is going on. It covers a range of time from the end of the previous age through to the end of this age. It’s the Big Picture.

]

]

]

]

Revelation 11:8  And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

[
Note:
This city is Jerusalem and the word “street” should have been translated as “arena”, similar to a stadium.
]

]

]

]

]

]

This concludes Revelation chapter eleven. Chapter twelve is an insert chapter. That means it is inserted into the normal flow of Revelation to describe an important aspect of what is going on. It covers a range of time from the end of the previous age through to the end of this age. It’s the Big Picture.
