One Is Taken, The Other Left

We want to understand what each verse or verses that make up a thought mean, but we also want to understand the meaning of the entire paragraph as in what point or message is it portraying.

It is important to know that having an understanding of the idioms and metaphors and names at the time of the culture can be very valuable in understanding GOD’S WORD. For example, in our culture a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Another extremely important thing to know is that prophecies regarding days, years, solar months or light are always related to GOD or HIS chosen, whereas prophecies given in nights, moons, lunar months, or darkness are always related to satan or his fallen ones.

Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Luke 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

In Luke 17:26 above, JESUS (the Son of man) is comparing what will be happening in the days that lead up to HIS return to what happened in the days of Noe up to the point in time when Noe entered into the ark. By the way, the saving ark and JESUS return are both related to days or things of GOD. But what about the night before the day? They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until it all ended. It will be the same at the return of JESUS.

So, why bring Noe into it? Why not just say everybody will be doing their regular things, then the end will come? Is it possible that there is a secret that is being communicated to the very elect?

Let’s go back to Noe’s time and find out.

Genesis 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

Genesis 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

The sons of GOD referred to here are angels and they were taking human wives. Here is an example of when the sons of GOD went to present themselves before the LORD, and satan came also to present himself before the LORD.

(Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.)

Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

GOD will not keep pleading with man BECAUSE man is flesh and is very temporary. The word ‘always’ in verse Genesis 6:3 above means ‘conceal’, which means will disappear as in over the horizon to be forgotten just like something that has passed from view never to be seen again. At this point in time, GOD has decided to destroy all living things on the earth, including man. In one hundred twenty years, after the ark is built, mans days will be no more.

Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Human and angel DNA resulted in giants. You might be interested to know that the fallen angels taught man things such as alchemy, war, astrology, sorcery (pharmaceuticals) and many other things that GOD would not want them to do (Book of Enoch). Their main purpose however, was to stop the Seed Of CHRIST from coming by mixing with humans, thereby to prevent GOD’S Plan to save HIS children and destroy the devil. But Noe (Greek spelling. Noah in Hebrew) was perfect, meaning he had not mixed with fallen angels.

Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Genesis 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Genesis 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

So, JESUS is saying that in the days of Noe, they were giving and taking in marriage to fallen angels, and that it would be the same in the days of the Son of man. The fallen angels are coming back with satan when he is cast out of Heaven by Michael and his angels (Revelation 12).

The bottom line for Luke 17:26 and 27 is that all the bad things are going on and then suddenly it all ends. It ends with the day starting (the ark, the return of JESUS). So, the night before the day is when all is darkness.

In these two verses below, it’s the same situation but the planting and building is related to planting and building false doctrine. We already know that there was a lack of morality.

Luke 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

Luke 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

The bottom line in verses Luke 17:28 and 29 is the same as the previous verses. The bad things are going on and then the end comes. And JESUS said explicitly that it would be the same right before HIS return.

Luke 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Verse Luke 17:30 says ‘thus’ shall it be. That means in the same way. In like manner, is how it will be at the end of the flesh age when JESUS returns. So, the fallen angels will be here and the morality will be bad, and there will be false doctrines. In other words, satan will be here claiming to be GOD right before JESUS returns.

Luke 17:31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

The prophecy in Luke 17:31 above is related to GOD. We can see that by the ‘day’ reference.

What day is ‘In that day’ speaking of? It’s The LORD’S Day, the Millennium. What are GOD’S chosen doing when that day comes?

The ‘watchman’ is watching, which is why he is on the roof, and he that is working in the field (world) is still working. He didn’t fall away to satan. They are doing their jobs all the way up to the point at which JESUS returns.

Luke 17:32 Remember Lot's wife.

Luke 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

Lot’s wife looked back, meaning she liked the lifestyle she had in Sodom. Her heart wasn’t with GOD, it was with the lifestyle and worldly pleasures she received in Sodom. He who likes things of satan will lose eternal life, but he who watches and waits for JESUS will gain eternal life.

Just as a note, keep in mind that when you see a word in italics in the King James Version of the Bible, it means that the particular word was added by the translators to make the verse flow more smoothly in English. The word was not in the original manuscripts of the Bible.

Now we come to the focal point of this study. What do the verses below mean?

What is the message being communicated?

What is said here will match with the same layout with what was spoken of above, meaning, these things written below will be going on just before the end. These things will be happening just before the return of JESUS. When JESUS returns, THE LORD’S DAY (The Millennium) begins and the flesh age is over.

JESUS is saying, ‘in that night’: What night? It’s the night before the Day. What Day? THE LORD’S DAY, the Day HE returns. The night before the DAY is the hour of temptation, also called Jacob’s Trouble or the great (or first) tribulation. That is when satan is here disguising himself as CHRIST in his role as antichrist (‘anti’ in the Greek means ‘instead of’, not ‘against’).

Now, this prophecy refers to the night. Prophecies relating to night are prophecies regarding satan. There shall be two in one bed, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. JESUS hasn’t returned yet and this prophecy is about what will be going on just before HE returns. This means the one taken is taken by satan (antichrist). The one taken didn’t fill their lamp with OIL (TRUTH), so they fall away to satan thinking he is JESUS. The one that is left knows the TRUTH and is waiting on the TRUE CHRIST.

Luke 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

Luke 17:35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

One woman thinks the work is done and that her savior has  returned. The other woman knows the TRUTH and keeps working, waiting on the TRUE CHRIST.

Luke 17:36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

It’s the same for the men as it is for the women. The man that knows the TRUTH has eyes to see and ears to hear and has a love for the TRUTH. He seeks GOD and fills his lamp with OIL, so he doesn’t fall away to satan.

Luke 17:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is , thither will the eagles be gathered together.

I believe the word ‘eagles’ here is an error. It should have been written as vultures. But either way, the ones taken fall away to satan because they didn’t care enough to learn the TRUTH. They worship the devil. They don’t make the first resurrection unless they repent before the TRUE CHRIST returns. They are Spiritually dead. Their bodies are carcasses for the vultures to eat. The evil spirits eat them up. They are the whore of Revelation.

Revelation 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore , and shall make her desolate and naked , and shall eat her flesh , and burn her with fire .

The Ten Horns:

- hate the whore
The ten horns are ten fallen angels that are cast out with satan to the earth (see the post: ‘Isn’t it about time we know what these things really mean?’ and ‘Five Are Fallen’). They hate the whore because they disrespect her. The whore has no decency. She does nothing that takes effort. She wants it all free, so she whores around with satan because she is too lazy to study the letter GOD sent to HIS children. She lets false teachers fill her with abominable things.

- make her desolate
To make her desolate means to take GOD’S WORD away from her. Anything without GOD is desolate.

- and naked
They take away her righteous acts. That is why she is naked. Our white fine linen clothing in Heaven is made up of our righteous acts. Once she worships satan, she is stripped of her righteous acts, so she is naked.

- eat her flesh
JESUS is The WORD. The WORD is HIS Flesh. The WORD was made flesh and dwelt among us. The Bread is HIS Body, HIS Flesh. It’s the Bread of HOLY COMMUNION. They eat her flesh by taking away HIS WORD, TRUTH, by taking away HOLY COMMUNION to the TRUE CHRIST. They accomplish this by deception.

- Burn her with fire
GOD is a Consuming FIRE, but satan is the fake fire. They deceive her with their fake fire into believing that satan is GOD.

Conclusion:

If you don’t understand GOD’S WORD, then find a good honest teacher. But if you are seeking GOD with a TRUE heart, then you will likely understand, by teacher or otherwise. That would likely mean you are of the very elect, GOD’S 7000 and had your name written into the book of Life from the foundation of the world. Those that do not understand are likely not seeking and neither do they care.

If you know that satan comes before CHRIST and disguises himself as CHRIST, and you know that you would NOT worship satan, then that means your name was written into The Book Of Life at the foundation of the world. It would also mean you were predestined to battle satan at the end of this age (election) or that you were predestined to help carry the TRUTH as a remnant (also election) all the way to the point at which the very elect would receive the TRUTH.

And if it is actually true that you won’t worship satan when he arrives here because you know the TRUTH, then you are one of GOD’S 7000. You’re of the very elect. If this is actually the case, you have eyes to see and ears to hear. You can understand GOD’S WORD. But you had better get to learning GOD’S WORD and get closer to GOD. You have to stand with GOD again, this one last time and fight against satan. You are already chosen and justified. Who can bring a charge to GOD’S elect, it is GOD that justifies. However, there is only one sin that is UNFORGIVABLE. If you know the TRUTH and you do not allow THE HOLY SPIRIT to Speak through you when you are delivered up for a testimony against satan, that sin is unforgivable.

The first shall be last: Those who FIRST trusted in CHRIST at the end of the last age will be in the last generation of this age. You can see why it is important to learn GOD’S WORD properly.

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Revelation 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

If you don’t care about TRUTH, then your only other choice is to hide under a rock:

Revelation 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Revelation 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Revelation 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

One Is Taken, The Other Left

We want to understand what each verse or verses that make up a thought mean, but we also want to understand the meaning of the entire paragraph as in what point or message is it portraying.

It is important to know that having an understanding of the idioms and metaphors and names at the time of the culture can be very valuable in understanding GOD’S WORD. For example, in our culture a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Another extremely important thing to know is that prophecies regarding days, years, solar months or light are always related to GOD or HIS chosen, whereas prophecies given in nights, moons, lunar months, or darkness are always related to satan or his fallen ones.

Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Luke 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

In Luke 17:26 above, JESUS (the Son of man) is comparing what will be happening in the days that lead up to HIS return to what happened in the days of Noe up to the point in time when Noe entered into the ark. By the way, the saving ark and JESUS return are both related to days or things of GOD. But what about the night before the day? They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until it all ended. It will be the same at the return of JESUS.

So, why bring Noe into it? Why not just say everybody will be doing their regular things, then the end will come? Is it possible that there is a secret that is being communicated to the very elect?

Let’s go back to Noe’s time and find out.

Genesis 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

Genesis 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

The sons of GOD referred to here are angels and they were taking human wives. Here is an example of when the sons of GOD went to present themselves before the LORD, and satan came also to present himself before the LORD.

(Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.)

Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

GOD will not keep pleading with man BECAUSE man is flesh and is very temporary. The word ‘always’ in verse Genesis 6:3 above means ‘conceal’, which means will disappear as in over the horizon to be forgotten just like something that has passed from view never to be seen again. At this point in time, GOD has decided to destroy all living things on the earth, including man. In one hundred twenty years, after the ark is built, mans days will be no more.

Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Human and angel DNA resulted in giants. You might be interested to know that the fallen angels taught man things such as alchemy, war, astrology, sorcery (pharmaceuticals) and many other things that GOD would not want them to do (Book of Enoch). Their main purpose however, was to stop the Seed Of CHRIST from coming by mixing with humans, thereby to prevent GOD’S Plan to save HIS children and destroy the devil. But Noe (Greek spelling. Noah in Hebrew) was perfect, meaning he had not mixed with fallen angels.

Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Genesis 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Genesis 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

So, JESUS is saying that in the days of Noe, they were giving and taking in marriage to fallen angels, and that it would be the same in the days of the Son of man. The fallen angels are coming back with satan when he is cast out of Heaven by Michael and his angels (Revelation 12).

The bottom line for Luke 17:26 and 27 is that all the bad things are going on and then suddenly it all ends. It ends with the day starting (the ark, the return of JESUS). So, the night before the day is when all is darkness.

In these two verses below, it’s the same situation but the planting and building is related to planting and building false doctrine. We already know that there was a lack of morality.

Luke 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

Luke 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

The bottom line in verses Luke 17:28 and 29 is the same as the previous verses. The bad things are going on and then the end comes. And JESUS said explicitly that it would be the same right before HIS return.

Luke 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Verse Luke 17:30 says ‘thus’ shall it be. That means in the same way. In like manner, is how it will be at the end of the flesh age when JESUS returns. So, the fallen angels will be here and the morality will be bad, and there will be false doctrines. In other words, satan will be here claiming to be GOD right before JESUS returns.

Luke 17:31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

The prophecy in Luke 17:31 above is related to GOD. We can see that by the ‘day’ reference.

What day is ‘In that day’ speaking of? It’s The LORD’S Day, the Millennium. What are GOD’S chosen doing when that day comes?

The ‘watchman’ is watching, which is why he is on the roof, and he that is working in the field (world) is still working. He didn’t fall away to satan. They are doing their jobs all the way up to the point at which JESUS returns.

Luke 17:32 Remember Lot's wife.

Luke 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

Lot’s wife looked back, meaning she liked the lifestyle she had in Sodom. Her heart wasn’t with GOD, it was with the lifestyle and worldly pleasures she received in Sodom. He who likes things of satan will lose eternal life, but he who watches and waits for JESUS will gain eternal life.

Just as a note, keep in mind that when you see a word in italics in the King James Version of the Bible, it means that the particular word was added by the translators to make the verse flow more smoothly in English. The word was not in the original manuscripts of the Bible.

Now we come to the focal point of this study. What do the verses below mean?

What is the message being communicated?

What is said here will match with the same layout with what was spoken of above, meaning, these things written below will be going on just before the end. These things will be happening just before the return of JESUS. When JESUS returns, THE LORD’S DAY (The Millennium) begins and the flesh age is over.

JESUS is saying, ‘in that night’: What night? It’s the night before the Day. What Day? THE LORD’S DAY, the Day HE returns. The night before the DAY is the hour of temptation, also called Jacob’s Trouble or the great (or first) tribulation. That is when satan is here disguising himself as CHRIST in his role as antichrist (‘anti’ in the Greek means ‘instead of’, not ‘against’).

Now, this prophecy refers to the night. Prophecies relating to night are prophecies regarding satan. There shall be two in one bed, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. JESUS hasn’t returned yet and this prophecy is about what will be going on just before HE returns. This means the one taken is taken by satan (antichrist). The one taken didn’t fill their lamp with OIL (TRUTH), so they fall away to satan thinking he is JESUS. The one that is left knows the TRUTH and is waiting on the TRUE CHRIST.

Luke 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

Luke 17:35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

One woman thinks the work is done and that her savior has  returned. The other woman knows the TRUTH and keeps working, waiting on the TRUE CHRIST.

Luke 17:36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

It’s the same for the men as it is for the women. The man that knows the TRUTH has eyes to see and ears to hear and has a love for the TRUTH. He seeks GOD and fills his lamp with OIL, so he doesn’t fall away to satan.

Luke 17:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is , thither will the eagles be gathered together.

I believe the word ‘eagles’ here is an error. It should have been written as vultures. But either way, the ones taken fall away to satan because they didn’t care enough to learn the TRUTH. They worship the devil. They don’t make the first resurrection unless they repent before the TRUE CHRIST returns. They are Spiritually dead. Their bodies are carcasses for the vultures to eat. The evil spirits eat them up. They are the whore of Revelation.

Revelation 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore , and shall make her desolate and naked , and shall eat her flesh , and burn her with fire .

The Ten Horns:

- hate the whore
The ten horns are ten fallen angels that are cast out with satan to the earth (see the post: ‘Isn’t it about time we know what these things really mean?’ and ‘Five Are Fallen’). They hate the whore because they disrespect her. The whore has no decency. She does nothing that takes effort. She wants it all free, so she whores around with satan because she is too lazy to study the letter GOD sent to HIS children. She lets false teachers fill her with abominable things.

- make her desolate
To make her desolate means to take GOD’S WORD away from her. Anything without GOD is desolate.

- and naked
They take away her righteous acts. That is why she is naked. Our white fine linen clothing in Heaven is made up of our righteous acts. Once she worships satan, she is stripped of her righteous acts, so she is naked.

- eat her flesh
JESUS is The WORD. The WORD is HIS Flesh. The WORD was made flesh and dwelt among us. The Bread is HIS Body, HIS Flesh. It’s the Bread of HOLY COMMUNION. They eat her flesh by taking away HIS WORD, TRUTH, by taking away HOLY COMMUNION to the TRUE CHRIST. They accomplish this by deception.

- Burn her with fire
GOD is a Consuming FIRE, but satan is the fake fire. They deceive her with their fake fire into believing that satan is GOD.

Conclusion:

If you don’t understand GOD’S WORD, then find a good honest teacher. But if you are seeking GOD with a TRUE heart, then you will likely understand, by teacher or otherwise. That would likely mean you are of the very elect, GOD’S 7000 and had your name written into the book of Life from the foundation of the world. Those that do not understand are likely not seeking and neither do they care.

If you know that satan comes before CHRIST and disguises himself as CHRIST, and you know that you would NOT worship satan, then that means your name was written into The Book Of Life at the foundation of the world. It would also mean you were predestined to battle satan at the end of this age (election) or that you were predestined to help carry the TRUTH as a remnant (also election) all the way to the point at which the very elect would receive the TRUTH.

And if it is actually true that you won’t worship satan when he arrives here because you know the TRUTH, then you are one of GOD’S 7000. You’re of the very elect. If this is actually the case, you have eyes to see and ears to hear. You can understand GOD’S WORD. But you had better get to learning GOD’S WORD and get closer to GOD. You have to stand with GOD again, this one last time and fight against satan. You are already chosen and justified. Who can bring a charge to GOD’S elect, it is GOD that justifies. However, there is only one sin that is UNFORGIVABLE. If you know the TRUTH and you do not allow THE HOLY SPIRIT to Speak through you when you are delivered up for a testimony against satan, that sin is unforgivable.

The first shall be last: Those who FIRST trusted in CHRIST at the end of the last age will be in the last generation of this age. You can see why it is important to learn GOD’S WORD properly.

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Revelation 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

If you don’t care about TRUTH, then your only other choice is to hide under a rock:

Revelation 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Revelation 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Revelation 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
