Agree With Thine Adversary Quickly
Here is the parable:
Matthew 5:25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
Matthew 5:26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
And here is what it means:
"Agree" in those verses doesn't mean agree, as we understand the word in modern English. It means be covert, don't get flagged. We are never supposed to agree that the antichrist is JESUS, but we are supposed to covertly get out of it if we run into someone that wants to talk about it. For example, if someone says that JESUS is in the desert, we don't agree with it, but we say something like "way to go brother", and silently slip away. If we cause ourselves to get delivered up before THE HOLY SPIRIT tells us, then we can end up on our own. Remember, they are only supposed to be able to keep us for ten days. If we cause ourselves to be delivered up before our time, then we will not get out until they decide we get out.
Revelation 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Revelation 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
